One of the biggest problems I have people asking me is,
After they remove there bath tub and then build a shower were the tub was

The floor drain is not in the center of the new shower
thus causing the shower floor to have more fall at the walls that are closest to the drain.

To remedy this problem some people are going against the rule to have 1/4 inch of fall
per liner foot in the shower floor in order to create less fall at the closer walls.

In this case I would suggest to first consider using a small tile for the shower floor, such
as a 1x1 or a 2x2 tile.
These floor tiles will work great on shower floors that have lots of fall,
and they are porcelain tiles in most cases and and they are slip resistant.
